In its very essence, EDUEgypt program is created to cater for the outsourcing industry needs in Egypt. Capitalizing on the successful public-private partnership (PPP) model adopted by the MCIT, EDUEgypt sought after the contribution of the industry players as well as various national and international stakeholders in every stage of the program.
 

The following is some highlights on the industry role in EDUEgypt Program:

1- Knowledge Transfer Process (KTP):

Since EDUEgypt is mainly targeting training calibers to join the outsourcing industry right after graduation, EDUEgypt made use of the Indian experience by inviting the topnotch BPO companies (Firstsource – IBM Daksh – Infosys) in India and the world to participate in a KTP to Egyptian trainers, who will train - by their turn - the Egyptian students in the universities.
 

2- Calibration Process:

Every year EDUEgypt conducts calibration rounds prior to its start in order to stand on the true levels of the skills needed by the industry.
 

3- Content Enhancement:

Egypt’s outsourcing companies’ assistance in this stage comes in the form of revising EDUEgypt’s content in order to ensure that the needs of the industry is well catered for.
 

4- Students’ Orientation:

EDUEgypt’s orientation sessions are the first face-to-face interaction with the students in the universities. In these sessions, students get introduced to EDUEgypt program & the benefits of joining it. Students are also introduced to the nature of working in the industry and are informed about their employment opportunities.
 

5- Field Visits to the Outsourcing Companies:

In order to get a real feel of the industry, some field visits are conducted to the outsourcing companies. In these visits, students are introduced the nature of call centers and the different international and local accounts. 
 

6- Feedback:

Closing the training circle is done through gathering feedback from all the outsourcing companies on the level of EDUEgypt graduates, who have joined them.
