The Education Development Program for Egyptian universities (EDUEgypt) is a milestone in bridging the employability gap which will help Egyptian graduates leapfrog into a global workforce culture. For that reason The Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and The ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) cooperated together and signed a protocol on 30th December 2007 to enhance the employability of the Egyptian graduates and prepare them for the local and global market. >>>

EDUEgypt is currently conducting several BPO Awareness Campaigns in Egyptian Universities to raise awareness about the BPO industry fits future in Egypt .
EDUEgypt 's fifth ITI will be launched on the 4th of May
April 14th, 2013 A BPO expert team from the Information Technology Institute (ITI) flew to Uganda's Capital, Kampala City on the 21st of March 2013. The team will carry on the implementation of the Joint Egyptian-Ugandan cooperation protocol to train and develop 3,000 Ugandans on the skills required by the Outsourcing and Offshoring (O&O) industry. The cooperation initiative is called "EDUganda" mimicking the biggest training initiative of Education Development of Universities in Egypt (EDUEgypt). EDUganda with its wide scope is considered the largest Human Resource Capacity Building cooperation initiative in the African continent. This phase of implementation is a pilot phase serving as a foundation for a Train of the Trainer program (TOT). The current phase is expected to take around two months in which the team will be delivering various training modules.

December 30th, 2012 ▪ As part of Phase VI preparations, EDUEgypt master trainers are providing support for trainers at Ain shams University prior to the start of training in March
November 28th, 2012 ▪ An Orientation was held at Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, For 4th year Students, Inviting senior students to join EDUEgypt Program in Cooperation with El-Ezaby Pharmacies.
September 4th, 2012 ▪ The assessment process for phase VI has started n the universities.
